Finally, after countless years (7), dark ambient master Blood Box (aka Michael JV Hensley of Yen Pox fame) returns with a new album on Loki Foundation's Power & Steel label. His previous album "The Iron Dream" is one of my favorite dark ambient works, and I was quite curious to see if he would live up to that after such a long period of seeming inactivity. The answer to that is yes, and this album kicks ass. Similar to his previous works, although this one seems to be more dynamic, Funeral In An Empty Room is a must check out for all fans of the genre.
